The Torch 2.0 Road shoes are all about comfort—well, comfort and performance that is. Due to the materials, road shoes often feel stiff and uncomfortable. We decided to address this annoyance head on, though. To do so, we've implemented a 100% mesh and TPU construction on the Torch 2.0 that allows for more wiggle room in the toe box and a less constrictive, sock-like feel. The upper is then paired with our medium-stiffness FACT carbon sole and a rubber heel and toe that provide the perfect degree of off-the-bike traction. For the closure, we added a single lightweight Boa® IP1 dial that features tool-free snap replacement capability, while also providing simple, on-the-fly micro-adjustments. - Body Geometry sole construction and footbeds are ergonomically designed and scientifically tested to boost power, increase efficiency, and reduce chance of injury by optimizing hip, knee, and foot alignment. - Carbon sole with a 7.0 Stiffness Index is engineered to be moderately stiff, yet light with a rubber heel and toe for off-the-bike traction. - Lightweight Boa® IP1 Fit System for on-the-fly micro-adjustment, backed by the Boa Guarantee. - Mesh and TPU upper for a supple fit. - Three-bolt cleat pattern fits all major road pedals. - Approximate weight: 235g (1/2 pair, Size 42)

Whether you’re hunting for Strava PRs or looking to ride big elevation, the all-new Torch 3.0 is the perfect companion. Combining classic aesthetics, premium construction, and elevated comfort, the all-new Torch 3.0 is a not-so-distant relative to its S-Works counterpart. Sharing key features like a unidirectional carbon plate, dual-zone Boa closure, and a seamless upper, the Torch 3.0 is an efficient, comfortable, and dependable performance shoe. Body Geometry Methodology: The human body evolved to walk, not pedal, which leads to power-robbing foot collapse, misalignment of the foot, knee, and hip, as well as “hot foot” in traditional cycling shoes. The Torch 3.0, like every Body Geometry shoe, helps solve these problems with three patented technologies - Varus Wedge, Longitudinal Arch & Metatarsal Button - to deliver a pain-free increase in power that’s validated by scientific testing and two decades of well-documented ass kicking. Carbon Plate: The Torch 3.0 features a lightweight, unidirectional carbon plate that enables balanced stiffness throughout the shoe, all while using less material, thus saving weight and ensuring efficient power transfer, mirroring its S-Works counterpart. Additionally, large rubber grips on the outsole of the toe and heel provide a stable, grippy platform for a seamless transition when pushing off the pavement to clip in or coming to a stop at a traffic light. Comfort: The key to a comfortable shoe is all in its construction—balanced stiffness paired with incremental fit adjustments and a supple upper is the perfect package for maximum comfort. It’s like the story of Goldilocks—with the Torch 3.0, we made a shoe that fits just right. Bringing riders efficient power transfer paired with premium Boa Li2 dials and a seamless TPU & mesh upper makes the Torch 3.0 the perfect fit for every ride. - Body Geometry sole construction and footbeds are ergonomically designed and scientifically tested to boost power, increase efficiency, and reduce chance of injury by optimizing hip, knee, and foot alignment. - Unidirectional Carbon sole engineered to be stiff, yet light with a large rubber heel and toe for off-the-bike traction. - Dual BOA Li2 dials for dual direction microadjustments and pop release. - Seamless upper constructed from mesh, TPU and with zonal reinforcement to maximise lockdown and comfort. - Internal heel counter provides a supportive and secure heel fit. - Three-bolt cleat pattern fits all major road pedals. - Approximate weight: 288g (1/2 pair, Size 42).

From the outset of the Torch 3.0 Road shoe design process, our goal was to create a performance offering as feature-packed as any top-end shoe. The challenge, however, was pulling this off at a palatable price. In order to achieve this, we utilized three strategically placed materials on the uppers that are welded together—TPU and mesh in the front and synthetic leather in the rear. This makes for a more comfortable and supportive front of the shoe. A stiff rear and heel cup, meanwhile, lock down your heel and keep all of your watts going into the pedals as efficiently as possible. This refined upper is combined with our legendary FACT carbon fiber sole to further ensure an efficient power transfer. Finally, we topped the Torch 3.0 off with two Boa S2-SV Snap dials for zonal closure, and a precise fit that leads to all-day comfort. - Body Geometry sole construction and footbeds are ergonomically designed and scientifically tested to boost power, increase efficiency, and reduce chance of injury by optimizing hip, knee, and foot alignment. - FACT carbon composite sole and torsion box construction is directionally rigid for outstanding power transfer: Stiffness Index 8.5. - Dual Boa S2-SV Snap dial closure for on-the-fly micro-adjustment, backed by the Boa Lifetime Guarantee. - Mesh, TPU, and synthetic layer upper are placed in specific zones for comfort and lock-down, and are thermobonded for a superior fit. - Standard Fit for support and all-day comfort. - Three-bolt cleat pattern fits all major road pedals. - Approximate weight: 248g (1/2 pair, Size 42)

When the moment comes for an attack in the hills, a long solo move, or a full gas sprint for the line, every watt counts, which is why we designed the S-Works Ares to be the most efficient and powerful performance shoe ever made. We combined decades of Body Geometry development with obsessive innovation working with the world’s best athletes to completely reimagine the race shoe. An entirely new, patent-pending closure system, Dyneema-reinforced tongueless sock, and ultra-stiff FACT Powerline carbon outsole eliminate foot roll, reduce pressure on tendons, and transfer every ounce of power to the pedals for unprecedented performance and comfort. It’s 1% faster than any shoe we’ve ever made, and at the finish line, that’s all that matters. - The key to more comfort, less injuries, and higher power output comes from our ergonomically designed, scientifically tested Body Geometry features—Longitudinal Arch, Varus Wedge, and personalized insoles with a Metatarsal Button. When used in harmony, these three features align the hip, foot, and knee, while also limiting medial/lateral knee movement and maintaining good circulation down to your toes. - Patent-pending closure design secures the foot for extreme, out-of-saddle efforts, locking the metatarsals and preventing lateral roll. - Dyneema is sandwiched between layers of synthetic and TPU to create no-stretch zones for the ultimate connection and comfort. - Our stiffest and lightest FACT Powerline carbon plate maximizes power transfer: Stiffness Index 15. - Independent BOA Li2 Fit System for on-the-fly micro-adjustment, backed by the Boa Guarantee. - PadLock heel construction cradles the heel and is proven to improve acceleration. - Non-slip, replaceable heel tread with internally recessed screws for security. - Form Fit last with a roomy toe box for the ultimate in connectivity and comfort. - Titanium alloy cleat nuts can rotate to position cleats 5mm rearward and fits all major 3-hole road pedals. - Approximate weight: 220g (1/2 pair, Size 42)

Foot Out, Flat Out—the redesigned 2FO Flat 2.0 was made to get you from the top of the run to the bottom as comfortably and efficiently as possible. Its outsole features our SlipNot 2.0 rubber compound, which was developed as a system to create the best pedal connection possible. Contrary to popular belief, pedal connection isn’t just about rubber—the rubber hardness, stickiness, lug pattern, midsole thickness, and density all contribute to this connection. Our sole construction, informed by a pressure mapping study, led us to use softer foam in the forefoot with firm-over-soft foam in the rear, giving incredible pin penetration, while also reducing the “standing on a marshmallow” feeling that causes foot cramps on long downhills. Along with the new sole, we've also implemented a toe bumper and a captured foam layer, providing protection from rocks and roots when the trail gets gnarly. - Body Geometry sole construction and footbeds are ergonomically designed and scientifically tested to boost power, increase efficiency, and reduce the chance of injury by optimizing hip, knee, and foot alignment. - SlipNot 2.0 rubber compound is our softest, grippiest rubber, and it's optimized for the ultimate in pedal connection - Engineered lug pattern was specifically designed to integrate with pedal pins. - Dual-density midsole adapts to the pedal, protects the foot, and results in superb pedal control. - Captured foam in the upper protects the foot from impacts. - Air mesh on the tongue and uppers provides protection, while quickly shedding water weight. - Smooth, thermobonded upper for lightweight durability and a snag-free profile. - Cushioned EVA foam midsole is sealed with a protective skin for support and tear resistance. - Lacelock elastic keeps laces out of the chainrings. - Relaxed Fit for a balance of pedal feel and off-the-bike comfort. - Approximate weight: 347g (1/2 pair, Size 42)

Just because winning an XC World Cup isn’t on your to-do list, doesn’t mean you don’t value performance and comfort. Recon 2.0 is your shoe. Inspired by S-Works Recon, with Body Geometry comfort and efficiency, Recon 2.0 puts all that performance within easy reach. Using our exclusive STRIDE toe-flex technology, the nylon outsole uses a TPU injected forefoot for natural movement off-bike, while still providing a stiffness index of 6.0 for in the saddle performance. We’ve also lifted the heel for an even more natural feeling while walking. To create traction off the bike in wet or dry, gravel or dirt, we’ve covered the nylon outsole with our SlipNot compound. If the traction's needed in the wet, you can also rest easy knowing the XPEL mesh used through the Recon 2.0 won’t get bogged down with water and will dry exceptionally quickly. No more wet shoes the morning after a wet ride. What makes the perfect cycling shoe? Is it exceptional power transfer? Superior Comfort? Undeniable style? The simple answer is 'yes' to all of the above. With the S-Works 7, you get a shoe with no compromises. We took a no holds barred approach to transferring every bit of your power to the pedals. The lighter and stiffer Powerline carbon sole is new and brought to you by the same team that developed Rider-First Engineering. Why's this special? Because it led to their lightest and stiffest carbon outsole to date. A completely refined Padlock Heel, meanwhile, packs in more comfort with the same exceptional heel hold that you found in the previous iteration. And finally, the space-grade Dyneema material used in the upper doesn't stretch when pulled on, making sure that your foot stays where it's supposed to. With these all features combined, you can be sure that Specialized kept in line with the motto "every watt is sacred." In the comfort arena, Specialized kept all of the Body Geometry features you know and love, like the Longitudinal Arch, Varus Wedge, and Metatarsal Button.
