Built with spring technology, it is possible to adjust the tension between 8 and 12 for a safe entry/release. To increase its durability, the platform surface is reinforced with a stainless-steel plate that gives it exceptional longevity.

Would be nice if they lasted a little longer. I ride 12 mos. a year, 4000 mi. +, in all conditions--the pedals work great until cleat and/or pedal wear causes difficulty clipping in/out.
